Please

Prince Milo was so sure she would deny him the pleasure of a kiss, especially after her inventing a game just to get away from it. He had not been planning on forcing her, that was not the kind of person, or future king, that he wished to be. But pursuing her and showing her that he did truly want her could not possibly be a bad thing? Surely not!

And when she agreed, he realized he had been right to do so. A big smile spread on his face and his hand went gently back to her cheek once more. Every move was slow, careful, as though he might scare her. He was so afraid that she might once again pull back, but as their lips finally met, she did not. The kiss was gentle and sweet and everything the prince had hoped for. When he finally drew back again and his eyes met her twinkling ones, he could not help but feel his heart skip a beat. She was so increadibly beautiful. He was quite honestly speechless.

"Your grace! You must come at once, your father is searching for you!" Came a voice from over by the rose bushes and as the prince looked over, he saw one of the servant boys run towards them with some haste. The prince frowned, annoyed at his servant for breaking this moment. Then, he looked back at the stunning girl in the tree.

"Please, join me tomorrow for the hunt. It will only be a small gathering, I believe your sister may come too!" The prince spoke fast, holding her face so that she could not ignore his request. The servant was almost at the tree now.

Of course the queen had heard the whispers about the Romanos and their lack of sleeping around court, but she had a gentle heart and did not care much for rumours. No, she would rather listen to the facts than whispers that might not have any real claim. Of course, sometimes the whispers became unbearibly loud, like when it concerned the king's mistress. It had, for a long time, been uncertain who had taken the role, but Lexi had been able to tell just by the smiles on the faces of the Romanos. Nevertheless, she had kept her lady Andy close. She did not think of her as a threat, although maybe she should have. She was simply a woman, trying her best to rise up in the world. And who could blame her?

The queen smiled politely and nodded to his words. Very well. Maybe these specific rumours had some truth in them then.

"I confess, I had much the same idea, my lord. May I join you?" The queen tilted her head ever so slightly. She often felt lonesome in the castle and some company was always welcome. Especially because Luca was somehow very intriguing to her. He was handsome, of course, but more than that, he was interesting. She could never quite read him.
