She is beautiful
Prince Milo let go of her face, relief flooding him because she did not say no or else come up with aqnother challange rather than doing as he wished. He smiled, placed another small kiss on her lip, and finally let go of her face to jump down, out of the tree.
"My prince! The king is asking for you!" Said the servant and Milo nodded.
"I heard you the first time, Lewis" He laughed and looked up at Evie again. She certainly was not what he had been expecting. She was so much more. The prince bowed low for her, a smirk on his face, and when he rose he said. "I look forward to tomorrow" And started making his way back to the palace. Milo could not stop smiling. He felt as though he were floating through the air as he passed the lords and ladies in the gardens and the hallways.
"My son" Smiled the king when he saw Milo. He layd a hand on his arm and smiled warmly.
"Your grace" Smiled the prince and bowed quickly, still thinking about Evie.
"A portrait, of the princess Alana. Your future wife" He smiled as he held out the portrait, which was no bigger than the kings own hand. The prince frowned suddenly, taken aback by this information. He knew that the king had comissioned the portrait, but he had not been expecting it to arrive so quickly. One glance at the portrait brought Milo back to reality. Evie was a dream, but this, Alana, was his reality. He was going to marry this woman, not the girl he had just left outside. The thought made his heart sink, despite the beauty of the princess who's portrait he was holding.
"Are you not pleased? She is beautiful" Continued the king when he saw the lack of emotions from his son.
"She is" The prince answered drily. There was no denying her beauty. "How old is it she is now?" Continued the prince. He had only met the princess once, when they were both around 8, to become betrothed. Since, he had been receiving regularly updated portraits, but this was the first that showed a woman, rather than a skinny little girl.
"Eighteen." Smiled his father and put his arm around his son. "And almost ready to be wed. If it had not been for her forsaken father, you two would have already been married and had sons" This thought seemed to irritate the king, but Milo did not mind the wait. In fact, he would like to wait some more. "And I would have had a stronger army and could finally invade Aristet." Continued the king sourly.

Queen Lexi smiled at the lords willignness to walk with her. She couldn't help but wonder if she had iterrupted a great plan of his. Maybe he had walked by himself by choice? Where she had seen someone who might want company, maybe he had been seeking solitude? She pushed the thoughts aside and began walking, side by side with the man.
"Tell me about yourself, my lord. What are your interests? Do you play any sports?" She had noticed, as had her ladies, that he was quite athleticaly built. The queen knew that her ladies would enjoy the company of Luca, as much as she would appreciate the conversation.

"Good morning, father" greated Andy happily as she walked into the dining room in the morning. She had only just left the king's bed and had not even had the time to change her clothes yet. She had rode home fast to do so, before going hunting with the king later in the afternoon. "You may be very proud of me father, for I have just left the king's bed" She declared happily, almost bouncing over to kiss her sister's cheek before sitting down and grabbing a bun for her brakfast. "He is in love with me" She smiled brighly and felt as though all the world loved her the same as the king. Andy could not stop fantisizing about the previous night and how happy the king had been with her. Surely he would soon grant her and her family gifts again? It had been over a week since she had gotten the previous gift: a necklace laced with the finest stones, interlaced with the prettiest satin.
