Well done
Prince Milo could not help but smile when he saw the stunning lady approach. Just as beautiful in daylight, she seemed to radiate happiness as she walked towards the small party. Her sister, Andrea, had already mounted her horse, as had the prince. As the king stood in front of Evie, the prince looked on, amused and leaned forward in his saddle to better see how Evie would handle the king. Prince Milo was pleased with her response, although he was less amused with how his father’s eyes wandered across her body. The king, after all, already had one mistress from the Romano family. Wasn’t that enough? If his father did decide it was not, the prince would not have a say in the matter. Evie would be taken from under him. Although she technically had never been under him.
Milo pushed the thoughts to the side and stretched out a hand to the lady as she could finally approach him without the king in the way any longer.
“Well done, my lady. You have passed the first test: impressing my father” He laughed and kissed her hand. But instead of letting go of her delicate hand afterwards, he held on tight and lead her around his own horse to the one she would be riding.
“This is your horse for the day. I hope you will find her pleasant. She is a beauty, like you and very calm in nature.” The prince informed her and finally let go of her hand as she was helped onto the horse.
“Sister! I am so pleased you could join us!” Andy had not been made aware that her sister would join them for the hunt and found herself looking at her sister’s brand new dress with some jealousy. Their father spoiled her sister and neglected his other children. Andy had not had a new dress now for a while - at least not from their father. Luckily, the king was more generous.

The queen let out a small, dry, giggle and shook her head. She could not imagine wanting to always be the centre of attention. Quite frankly, she despised it most of the time. If she could have chosen her life, it would have looked very different.
“I am not one of them” She admitted and smiled apologetically at the lord. His sister WAS one of the people she assumed he was speaking of.
“I wish they would not” She continued with a sigh and looked at the lord again. “And what of you? Are you as ambitious as the rest of your family members?” She smiled warmly at him. She did not blame his family for being ambitious. Most people in this world had the ability to change their reality, unlike her. Why should they not?
