Follow me
Milo simply smiled. Surely it was not a bad thing not to be able to lie? He could normally lie quite well, but not to her. There was something so innocent about her that he simply could not bring himself to not be truthful with her.
“I shall work on it then” He smiled, bowing his head slightly. But he could see the worry in her eyes. He had not been out of the castle grounds enough to know if her worry was justified or if she was simply overly cautious.
When they entered the inn, the prince was surprised. It was a dark room filled with a strange mixture of smells. He could definitely pick out the distinct smell of sweat, spices and must, but couldn’t put his finger on what made it smell so sweet. The room was poorly lit with would probably be good for hiding the prince’s features.
“Milo” The knights voice made the prince turn around. “My cloak will hide your face better” He said handing over his cloak. Unlike with the lady Evie, Dominic was there to protect the prince, which meant that he was more willing to allow the guard to give up his comforts for his prince. He pulled the cloak around his broad shoulders and put the hood up to shield his features from view. If he kept his head bowed, he would hopefully not be spotted.
Then he followed the lady Evie to the bar to find out if she had been able to find a room for them. Although he secretly hoped she would not as he could already smell the food being cooked in the kitchens and his stomach had started growling.

Andy noted that he did not lower his gaze, but did not point it out. His eyes were a light blue and in the rain, they almost looked like the sea. One could drown in eyes such as those.
Did she know of a place? Her home… but that was yet far away. She knew the surrounding towns were small and doubted they could give them good enough shelter, especially in the midst of a storm, but she nodded slowly.
“There’s a little village if we follow the trail” She said, starting to walk the way she had indicated.
They walked in silence for a little while before Andy glanced at him again. Both were soaked through to the bones and Andy was shivering. Her arm felt oddly hot despite the biting cold reaching through the layers of clothing she wore.
“Why did you follow me?” She then spoke. It was a question she had been wondering ever since she spotted the servant. He had said he could not escort her, so why did he come after her after all? Perhaps he, too, had been on his way someplace? Although why would he not stay on the king’s road if that were the case? As She studied his face, she could not tell what he might have been thinking. And that made her even more intrigued.
