I look forward to it

Seeing the prince with a little baby in his arms brought a smile to her face. It looked equally beautiful as it did ridiculous, because the baby was so small and the prince had such big, strong arms that somehow made it look even smaller.
The moment did not last for long and the prince decided that it was time for them to go, on account of the storm. He was right, of course. Even if he had not been, she was in no position to question his decision. So, Evie nodded and turned to Miss Mary.
“I will be back in one week.” She promised the poor, tired lady, who needed with a smile on her face.
“I look forward to it, as always, My Lady. Thank you for bringing your friend, Lord Milo, to us. He has been a godsend.”
“Indeed he has.” Evie smiled and raised her hand to touch the prince’s arm, face turning more serious. “I will be right outside. I must say goodbye to the children.”

Jasper nodded. There was not much else he could tell the king. Although he had no choice but to be honest about his own involvement. He was the one who had failed to keep the letter from ending up in the hands of the queen. He was the only who should be blamed, not Lady Andrea. She had played no part in it other than being the receiver of the letter and that was only the fault of the king.
“Yes, My Lady.” He said and watched her ride off.
This was when he should have returned inside, to find the king and inform him of the disaster. Yet, he stood there, staring out into the rain and thinking of the lady all alone in the middle of a storm with terrible rain and thunder that might even scare the bravest of horses.
It did not take long for him to ready another horse for himself and ride out, after the lady. His job was most likely already lost to him either way and if the lady was in need of help then the least he could do was offer her his services, and make certain that she got home safe.
