Knight
Milo had heard of Evie’s fondness of strange creatures, but he never would have guessed that she would form an attachment to a pig, of all creatures. The story made him chuckle. A pig that was afraid of thunder… Interesting.
Her comment made the prince laugh out loud. He really did not take offence, instead he found it funny and laughed along. She was truly the only person in the kingdom that would have dared say such a thing to a royal. But then again, with her looks and charm she could bloody well say anything she liked and he would simply agree.
“Well then, I suppose he must be a handsome pig” Laughed the prince before Evie turned serious. Milo noted that she only just then let go of his arm.
“Do not worry about me, my lady. I am absolutely fine.” He promised her, a gentle hand resting on her arm to assure her that his words were true. And they were. “After all, my knight in shining armour saved my rather quickly” He said, amused as he glanced around. He could not see Dominic or the carriage anywhere…. Where had he gone?

Andy had felt a sharp pain in her arm as she had tried to catch herself in the fall. It now pulsed with pain as she her someone call on her and groaned slightly. She did not have time! She must make it home!
But even as she sat up, she could see her mare run from her, soon enough joined by another rider-less horse? She blinked and the unscathed arm went to her head. How hard had she fallen?
She was suddenly pulled back into reality and found herself staring at a man’s handsome face. He was drenched from the storm but she recognised him all the same.
“Jasper?” She whispered, her eyes taking in the vision. He had come to save her? But why? She could not even bring herself to acknowledge his questions, but swung the healthy arm around his shoulders and held on, her painful one resting in her lap. Any movement to the hand sent shooting pains through her whole arm.
“I must get home!” She suddenly remembered and stared around but her horse was nowhere to be seen. Nor was what she now assumed had been the servant’s horse. Although, did servants have the privilege of having horses? She was too dizzy to think of it any longer and sighed, exhausted from the hard ride and the fall.
